LET’S SAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET : GLOBAL WARMING

Save this beautiful planet by making some difference on the behavior of a common man. I would like to share some really stunning reports about the real causes of global warming. They are simply alarming!!!!!!!!!!

I hope many of us have seen this movie called ‘2012’ which depicts the consequences but didn't show the real causes why it is happening. It is a very narrow subject. I believe, you must read and also collect more information to enhance your knowledge on this subject. I know, it seems to be impractical for everyone to change ourselves even a bit. Not easy at all, human nature always resists change. But if we understand the reasons behind it, we could easily make it change. It only needs commitment, determination and unity. If we do not take this step in near future, then it might be possible that countries like Maldweep and other 50 small countries near coastal region would be drown in water. In India, all the coastal regions like Goa, Maharashtra, Kerala, TN, Andhra Pradesh are likely to be drown in water in the next 50 years according to an estimate. There is also a prediction of a big earth quake expected upto 7.5 -8 ritcher scale in Northern India in the next 10 years as the bottom surface of Himalayas is getting affected. People are getting frequent earthquakes in Himalayan region, Srinagar and Lahore (Pakistan). So folks, wake up, and please think what can we do. Why is it happening? Is there any way to prevent it completely? Yes, definitely. Changing a bit could make a big difference. According to the survey, you may be surprised to know one of the main causes is the consumption of Non-vegetarian foods (you may wonder HOW???). So far, you might have thought it is happening because of unwanted usage of petrol, water, transportation (leads to pollution), cutting of trees (as cutting of 1 tree = 1000 sheets of paper or 500 cigrettes), carbondi-oxide, methye or greenhouse gases and so on. Yes, you are correct. It is partially true. But many of us are not aware of the fact that more than 60% of the real cause is only because of Livestock Farming or Meat Manufacturing. All the other factors are of course interlinked and only remain secondary. It is also estimated from the survey that if only 10% of world's population stop consuming meat and becomes ‘VEG’, then the nature could be preserved for many years to come.

The most common measure of global warming is the trend in globally averaged temperature near the Earth's surface because of many reasons. Up to 20,000 delegates from192 countries are due to attend the UN conference in the Copenhagen, which aims to thrash out a deal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions sufficiently to prevent an increase in global temperatures of more than 2 degrees centigrade. If it reaches to 4 degrees, then we cannot even imagine what could happen!

The only One Hidden Big Reason for Global Warming:

Consumption of Meat:

This particular information is not presented openly because of the fact that these could harm the Meat Business (also called Meat Packing Industry) in many ways and therefore, these information’s are not been disclosed by many big developed countries. The main countries where the consumption of meat is more are USA, New Zealand, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada, Norway & Britain. Every year, millions of animals are killed every year. In India, the big slaughterhouse are in Maharashtra followed by Hyderabad, Aligadh, Aurangabad and Delhi.

Meat manufacturing has become a big business all around the world.
It is consumed more in the western countries like USA, China (52 kg of meat consumed per person per year), Canada, etc and also other parts of the world. There are some places (rural) where large number of vaccinations are given to animals. People generally consume them without knowing about its side-effects.

The below statistics are to show the quantity of water used:

To produce 1 kg of rice (raw) needs 500 ltrs of water.
To produce 1 kg of pulses needs 500-750 lts of water.
To produce 1 kg of cereals needs 500-750 lts of water.

To produce 1 kg of flesh, 5000 ltrs of water. (10 times more – If an average person takes a shower bath for 5-7 minutes daily then this quantity of water may be used for 10-12 months approximately)

You may wonder how an animal can consume 5000 liters. Here I would like to clarify that these are used in the form of food. Those animals which could be survived with grass or leaves are forcefully given raw materials like rice, pulses or cereals to make more flesh (the food which half of the worlds population needs impatiently).. The more the flesh, the more they earn. So the consumption of water and basic commodities goes up and this leads to shortage of food and of course, last but not the least, water. You may also find information like Omega3 which is very organic and good for animal health and our health too. They are fully refined flesh available in a super market. It is a complete nonsense. It is again to make their business and fool everyone. They are killing those innocents which even cannot tell you to postpone their murder.

Please Note: Majority of the world's population is dying because of the shortage of the food (includes raw materials like rice, pulse, cereals etc). Majority dies only because of the poverty and hunger. And if we estimate the production of raw materials around the world, then these raw materials are in abundance, more than sufficient, the whole world’s population could eat up to 3-4 times. But this money minded (powerful organisations) people are mainly concerned to make only money. National Beef Association of UK are challenging to make this whole world ‘meat eaters’ by the next 50 years to spread their business worldwide. What will they do with the money when some natural calamity comes? Nature doesn’t understand who is powerful, rich or poor.

Information from Wikipedia:
A slaughter house is a facility where animals are killed and processed into meat foods. The animals most commonly slaughtered for food are cattle (for beef and veal), sheep (for lamb and mutton), pigs (for pork), horses (for horsemeat), goats (for chevon), and fowl, largely chickens, turkeys, and ducks, for poultry meat. Around ten billion animals are slaughtered every year in 5,700 slaughterhouses and processing plants employing 527,000 workers; in 2007, 28.1 billion pounds of beef were consumed in the U.S. alone. In Canada, 650 million are killed annually. In the European Union, the annual figure is 300 million cattle, sheep, and pigs, and four billion chickens. Slaughtering animals on a large scale poses significant logistical problems and public health concerns, with public aversion to meat packing in many cultures influencing the location of slaughterhouses. In addition, some religions stipulate certain conditions for the slaughter of animals so that practices within slaughterhouses vary.
There has been criticism of the methods of preparation, herding, and killing within some slaughterhouses, and in particular of the speed with which the slaughter is sometimes conducted. Investigations by animal welfare and animal rights groups have indicated that a proportion of these animals are being skinned or gutted while apparently still alive and conscious. There has also been criticism of the methods of transport of the animals, who are driven for hundreds of miles to slaughterhouses in conditions that often result in crush injuries and death en route. Slaughtering animals is opposed by some vegetarians and animal rights groups on ethical grounds. However, more radical environmentalists consider domesticated animals to be “goofier” or “freaks” of nature - deformed animals whose wild genetic homeostasis has been destroyed - with the implication that these animals are not animals at all (in the natural sense), and are thus undeserving of this kind of (shallow) moral or ethical consideration. For them, it is overshadowed by deeper issues such as the extent to which their production systems have displaced the pre-existing diversity of natural animals (wildlife), and has negatively impacted natural ecosystems and human society.

Slaughter Houses in India:
On our Birth our mother breast fed us for a period of time. Then for the rest of our life we are fed by cows, without even feeding their calves. After squeezing out even the last drop of its milk, humans slaughter it for its meat.India has a rapid rise in slaughter houses of cows from about 350 to 36,000 in span of thirty years. This is the official number. Don't know what is unofficial number. The highly merchandised of the slaughter houses are ALKABIR (Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh), FRIGORIFICO ALLANA (Aurangabad), Hind Industries (Aligadh), Allana Sons (Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra), Devanar (Maharastra). They employ inhuman process and torturous way of getting meat and skin. The animals agonies start long before they are dead. They are brought to Alkabir in trucks, from far away distances. For economy, 20-25 huge buffalos are stacked up in each truck. Nobody cares to feed them food, or even water while in transit. They are packed so tightly in the truck, that they are hurt by each other. By the time they arrive, they are no more capable of standing on their own feet. Their tails are cut and chilli powder is rubbed into their eyes to make them move. They are brought into the final ground, where at least a thousand animals are stored. This is their last open air. They are kept here for four days, hungry and thirsty. Then their legs are broken and eyes poked, so that a 'certificate' can be obtained about their uselessness. The hunger and thirst of four days cause the hemoglobin to move from blood in to fat. The meat with higher hemoglobin fetches better prices. Now these animals are pushed into washing showers. Extremely hot water (200 degrees!) is sprayed on them for five minutes, to soften their skins, so they will be easy to remove. The animal faints at this point, but it is not dead yet.Now it is hung upside down with one leg, on a chain-pulley conveyor. Then half of the neck is slit. This drains the blood, but does not kill the animal. After death, the skin swells thick, which sells for a poor price. But the skin of a live animal is still thin, which has better economic value. On one side the blood is dripping from the neck, and on the other side a hole is made in stomach, from which air is pumped inside. This causes the body to swell, making it easier to peel the skin. After removing the leather, the animal is cut into four pieces: head, legs, body, and tail. The machines remove bones, and pack small pieces of meat into cans for shipping. Most of the importers are Gulf Countries.Right now, there are 36,000 slaughterhouses (official number), of which 10 are highly automated, where daily 250,000 animals are hacked. At this time the population of buffalos in the country is only 75 millions, and cows 200 millions. Alkabir alone is licensed to kill 600,000 a year, but Deonar (Mumbai) is licensed to kill 2,500,000 a year, in addition to 120,000 cows and 60,000 buffalos. Kolkata located slaughterhouse kills 1,200,000 cows and buffalos per year. These are just official numbers for a few large facilities.India is the only country in world that provides in its Constitution for mercy and care of the animals. But it is not as what appears. Thousand of cows are sent for slaughter everyday for its meat and leather. Cows and other animals are forced to endure transport in extremely crowded trucks, suffering broken bones and dehydration. Even young calves are not spared from this cruelty. Then they are slaughtered in a very inhuman and torturous way.Slaughterhouses don't kill animals only; they also murder 'humanityIt is a long left promise by Mahatma Gandhi And Nehruji before independence to ban cow slaughter. So we hereby request you to please use your power of office to end the cruel illegal transport and slaughter of Indian animals.

Indian Tobacco Company in India: The name as it appears to be an Indian company but actually it's origin is from America. It is one of the biggest american company that is destroying India. This company produces tobacco products like Cigarrets, Gutkas etc. It produces 9000 million cigretts annually. 1 tree (big one) being cut to produce just 500 cigretts. Just imagine how many trees are being cut on an average. Not only that, more trees are also cut to produce to make all the packaging and distribution work. The atmosphere gets more polluted due to decrease in the oxygen (as lesser number of trees) and increase in the carbondioxide (as more amount of smoke produced from the cigretts.

There, the torture starts. Hot water is poured on the animals when they are alive, skins are removed forcefully and then been cut, processed and distributed. Veal is the meat of young cattle (calves) that is newly born would be cut into pieces. The mother cattle who had just given a birth roam around the slaughter house looking for her new born baby crying and making some unusual noises. A physicist of Australia has found that these vibrations (negative crying sounds) will certainly make an impact and create some kind of trouble to the environment and people who are involved in this in-human cruelty. He further adds that all those big tragedies happened are mainly because of these human tortures. The whole environment becomes impure. The mind of a person becomes more of a devil nature that makes him more corrupted and cruel because of these negative vibrations. If people silently watch these in-human tortures then they would also suffer in someway or other. Spiritual philosophers call it ‘Karma’ means cause and effect of one’s deed. These fleshes are imported to other places or the other parts of the world. While importing, a large number of wooden boxes are required. For these wooden boxes, a large number of trees have been cut unnecessarily. For unnecessary transportation, fuel is wasted without any cause making a dot in the ozone layer.

People should give up eating meat to halt climate change, according to Lord Stern of Brentford, a leading authority on global warming.

Lord Stern, author of the 2006 Stern Review on the cost of tackling global warming, predicts that eating meat could in the future become as socially unacceptable as drink driving.
Livestock farming has come under fire in recent years from environmental campaigners because methane from cattle and pigs is a significant source of greenhouse gases.
Lord Stern, a former chief economist of the World Bank, believes that the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December should call for an increase in the price of meat and other foods that contribute to climate change.
In an interview with The Times, he said: “Meat is a wasteful use of water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. It puts enormous pressure on the world’s resources. A vegetarian diet is better.”
He added: “I think it’s important that people think about what they are doing and that includes what they are eating.
“I am 61 now and attitudes towards drinking and driving have changed radically since I was a student. People change their notion of what is responsible.
“They will increasingly ask about the carbon content of their food.”
Meat producers reacted angrily to the suggestions.
Jonathan Scurlock, of the National Farmers Union, said: “Going vegetarian is not a worldwide solution. It’s not a view shared by the NFU. Farmers in this country are interested in evidence-based policymaking. We don’t have a methane-free cow or pig available to us.”
Methane is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide as a global warming gas. UN figures suggest that meat production is responsible for about 18 per cent of global carbon emissions, including the destruction of forest land for cattle ranching and the production of animal feeds.
However, British farmers say more money and support is needed to maintain the traditional countryside in the face of increased environmental demands from government.
New climate change targets to cut greenhouse gases by 80 per cent by 2050 will require farms to reduce methane produced by cows, cut use of fossil fuels and use less polluting fertilizers.
Landowners fear that the rules will add to increasing red tape from Europe and competition from abroad to make it even more difficult to make a living out of farming.
Up to 20,000 delegates from192 countries are due to attend the UN conference in the Copenhagen, which aims to thrash out a deal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions sufficiently to prevent an increase in global temperatures of more than 2 degrees centigrade.

Possibility of Diseases from Animals:
19 January 2010 – Equine infectious anaemia has been detected in two horses in Wiltshire following importation from Romania via Belgium.
These diseases A-Z index of diseases - know how to spot signs of disease from avian influenza and bluetongue to rabies and scrapie.
Notifiable diseases - there are some animal diseases that must be reported by law which can be detected at any point of time on the human body.
These include:
o Avian influenza (Bird flu)
o Bluetongue
o BSE
o Equine Infectious Anaemia
o Foot and Mouth Disease
o Rabies
o Scrapie
o Tuberculosis
Zoonoses - Zoonoses are defined by the World Health Organisation as "Diseases and infections which are naturally transmitted between vertebrate animals and man". A zoonotic agent may be a bacterium, virus, fungus, parasite, or other communicable agent. For more information, please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoonosis

Remember the Laws of Nature: If we protect the law of nature, the law of nature will protect us. Keep in mind!!!

Please do not think that I am a part of some Animal Rights group. No, I am not. In fact, I just want to be a simple human being. It is after all a matter of commonsense and not the taste. Just think for a minute what is good and what is bad. You will get the answer.

Human nature is to make mistakes. But even after knowing the mistake and repeating the same without correcting it, is a sin.

Please do consider on this matter very seriously. Think about what we say to the future generations if they ask what have we given them!!!

I request you to please post your ideas to do this better and also please forward this information to all the people you know.....
